Call811Careers.org is a career development program offered by Pitkin, Eagle, Garfield Damage Prevention Council (PEGDPC) and is dedicated to spreading awareness about 'Call 811 b4u Dig.' Our goal is to make sure underground utility lines are marked, preventing injuries and minimizing damages. Beyond promoting safety awareness, we offer career development opportunities, and scholarships to support local high school seniors, fostering community growth and a culture of responsibility and excellence.

PEG Damage Prevention Council collaborates with local high schools to educate students about underground utilities and the importance of 'Call 811 B4U Dig'. Most students say they had never heard of the service before researching 811 during the scholarship application process and didn't realize how close to the surface, buried utility lines can be.
High School seniors in Pitkin, Eagle, and Garfield Counties are encouraged to submit an educational story, poem, video, song, or other media to promote the need to 'Call 811 B4U Dig'. Winning submissions are awarded a $500 scholarship for college, trade school, books, tools, or any other practical need that will advance their education and careers.
